Rachie on the Quayside

Here's another older post that I've just finished posting. This time it was a sunset/night shoot with the lovely Rachie on the Gateshead Quayside between The Millennium Bridge and Baltic Contemporary Art Gallery.
I don't have a lot of experience with night shoots and this was a really interesting challenge and now that I've bought myself a new location flash-head and collapsable soft box I'm really looking forward to doing some more urban shoots like this. I also really enjoyed working with Rachie and I hope I get the chance to work with her again sometime.

Let me know what you guys think!

Newcastle Comic Con 2019

Hey everyone!

Sorry for being a bit quiet again but things have been quite hectic recently but I've finally been feeling better and I've been trying to get some more shoots sorted.

Last weekend I went along to Newcastle Comic Con at Jurys Inn in Newcastle. It was a bit hectic because I'd been shooting late the night before and had another shoot later in the afternoon. I didn't do much shooting because I wasn't able to stay for very long and the venue was a little cramped and hard to shoot in. I did get to catch up with some awesome cosplayers, met some new people and I did get a few cool shots that I thought I'd share with you guys.

Check them out and let me know what you think!

Miss Ubel and Phaze Clothing

This is a very late post (even by my usual standards) but this is probably one of my favourite photoshoots to date! This is actually from when I was at college and I working for an alternative clothing company called Phaze Clothing. Mostly it was running their social media, organising photos, scouting models, helping in the stock room and most importantly; shooting their stock for their website.

While I really loved the job I always wanted to do something more creative with some of their awesome outfits. I borrowed a few outfits but kept getting cancelled on whenever I organised models to shoot them. After quite sometime, I organised a shoot with the gorgeous Miss Ubel at my college's studio and we did quite a quick 1 hour shoot primarily using blue and red colour gels on the studio's main scoop. This was back when I'd only just started shooting with colour gels and this shoot really cemented my love for them. Plus it was great to finally do a creative shoot with some of Phaze's alternative dresses and Miss Ubel was a pleasure to work with; driven, intense and very powerful and honestly even though it's a few years old now this has got to be one of my favourite shoots EVER!

Sorry it took me quite a while to post them but better late than never. As ever please let me know what you think and keep an eye out for my next post!

Unleashed Middlesborough Comic-Con February 2018

Hey everyone.

I know I've been a little quiet again but things have been really hectic lately. Now that I'm finally feeling better I've been organising a few shoots and I'm finishing posting some left over photos from some of my older shoots.

I thought I'd post some of my favourite photos from one of my favourite conventions of 2018; Middlesborough Unleashed at Teeside University. This was one of my favourite conventions of 2018 and it was awesome! The location was fantastic, it was really well organised, the Princess show and cosplay competition were brilliant and I got to meet some great people and took some great photos of some amazing cosplayers!

I'm hoping to go to some more conventions this year now that I'm finally feeling better so hopefully I'll be writing some more posts like this very soon.
