Here are some of my favourite photos from my pinup fashion shoot with the lovely Grim Blossom on the bank of the River Wear in Durham. I'd been waiting for the opportunity to work with Miss Blossom for ages so when she mentioned she had a new dress she wanted to shoot, I leapt at the chance and we arranged to meet on the riverside in Durham.
We spent the best of an hour shooting around the boating club with the rowing boats under the bridge then went for a coffee in the city centre and took a few photos on our way back. I really loved working with Grim Blossom. I've never given much thought to Pin-Up but I really enjoyed this; maybe because I enjoy history and costumes so much. I'm really pleased with this shoot especially as it was relatively unplanned and it was during quite a low point for me.
We mainly shot with my Nikon D610 with a 50mm lens and I used my SB-700 speed light with a soft box attachment for some of the shots closer to the bridge.
I love these shots and I really hope I get the chance to work with Grim Blossom again.
